Dr. Usamah Simjee, MD, is a board-eligible psychiatrist licensed in New York. At this time he only offers online appointments. He is a specialist in prescribing psychiatric medications. He welcomes patients from age 18 and up. He treats anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, bipolar disorders, compulsive disorders, reproductive psychiatric issues, schizophrenia, sleep disorders, trauma related disorders, and ADHD.
My Story
Dr. Simjee does offer ADHD evaluations.
Dr. Simjee attended college at the University of California, Davis. He earned his medical doctorate from Albany Medical College, and completed his residency in psychiatry at Albany Medical College in New York. During his training he cared for a wide variety of individuals with mental health conditions utilizing medication management and psychodynamic psychotherapy.
Dr. Simjee provides nonjudgmental, compassionate and in-depth treatment that involves thoroughly listening to each patient, thus getting to know and understand each patient on a psychiatric and a psychological level, and to fully evaluate all psychiatric medications a patient has been on in the past, so Dr. Simjee is able to give therapeutic as well as medication-management recommendations to address patient mental health.

When Dr. Simjee is not working, he enjoys spending time with his two children.
